A big drama unfolded before the semi-final match of the first season of the American Premier League (APL), due to which a strange controversy broke out on the field. The umpires were reportedly thrown off the field by the police because they refused to officiate. Umpires had claimed that the organizers had not paid their dues. The umpires had demanded before the match that their salaries be paid.

Umpires were thrown out of the field for this reason :-

The umpires had set a condition before the semi-final match that league owner Jai Mir should first pay the outstanding amount of 30 thousand dollars. Only after this the match will proceed. To this, the APL organizer claimed that the umpires, despite receiving advance payment, insisted on additional payment from the organizers and threatened to stop the semi-final. According to the organizer, they had to call the police, who threw the umpires off the field.

APL wrote on X:-

“The umpires were paid a down payment and attempted to stop the semi-final and blackmailed the owner into paying 30k. Threatened that there would be no match,” APL wrote on Twitter.

Danny Khan, Vijaya, Brian Owens were told that they cannot blackmail as an umpire and stop the semi-final, but these greedy umpires did not budge even when they were asked to leave to continue the match. Was asked for.”

It was further stated in the post:-

The post further read, “The match had to be stopped when the umpires refused to leave the field. Due to this, the police were called and these greedy umpires were thrown off the field. An umpire should never stop a match. “They shouldn’t be holding back, especially when they know it’s the playoffs and they shouldn’t be blackmailing the league owner.”
