AUS vs ZIM: Mitchell Starc returns to Australia’s playing XI for the first ODI against Zimbabwe after 13 months

AUS vs ZIM, 1st ODI: Australia have announced their playing XI for the first match of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. Fast bowler Mitchell Starc has returned to the Australian team after 13 months.

Starc played his last match in the 50-over format against West Indies in July 2021. Mitchell Starc will play his 100th match in ODIs on Sunday. He has so far taken 195 wickets in ODIs at an average of 22.45 and a strike rate of 26.1.

Zimbabwe to play a three-match ODI series from Sunday, August 28

Zimbabwe is to play a three-match ODI series on the Australia tour from Sunday, August 28. All three matches of the series will be played at the Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville. The second ODI will be on 31 August and the third and final match will be on 03 September. The Zimbabwe team has recently arrived in Australia after hosting the Indian team for a three-match ODI series.
