BCCI has issued the media rights tender for the international and domestic matches of the Indian team. According to the board, it will be mandatory for every company to buy ITT i.e. Invitation to Tender to get the media rights. Only after purchasing ITT a company will be able to stake its claim to acquire the rights.
These conditions have to be followed:-
BCCI has told that any company which is interested in acquiring the media rights of international and domestic matches of the board, will have to buy an invitation to tender by paying an amount of 15 lakhs. The board has made it clear that this amount will not be returned to the company. Any company can buy ITT till August 25, which is its last date.

Disney + Hotstar had possession of media rights :-
Earlier, from 2018 to 2023, the media rights of BCCI were occupied by Disney + Hotstar. The company had bought the rights for five years, bidding 6,138 crores. Disney had named the media rights, leaving Sony behind. Prior to Disney, the rights were with Sony, who paid Rs 6,118 crore to the board. Whereas, Star India had captured the media rights for Rs 3,851 crore.
