IND vs PAK Venue T20 World Cup 2024: America May Have To Bear The Brunt Of Hosting The T20 WC 2024, will Virat and Babar play in a children’s park? This year ICC is going to organize a big tournament like the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and America.

The Cricket is A Brand New Game For The USA:-

Cricket has been played on the soil of the West Indies for many years, but for the USA, cricket is a completely new game. Although there are many T20 leagues in the USA, the kind of infrastructure that cricket-playing countries do not have to organize a mega ICC tournament on a large scale.

Recently, pictures of the cricket stadium on which the T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan is to be held have gone viral on soil media. Looking at those pictures, any cricket lover can guess that it is not an international stadium but a children’s play park.

Eisenhower Park New York Has Been Selected For The Competition:-

Eisenhower Park, New York has been chosen for the India-Pakistan match. However, Eisenhower Park was not the first choice. The first choice was the Bronx.

But the local people were not willing to build a cricket stadium and due to their opposition the site was handing over to Nassau.

According to photos and video shared by cricket journalist Peter Della Penna. No major construction work has yet started on Eisenhower Park.

In this park, local people are seen playing cricket with children to enjoy their evening. Till now no work has been done on the outfield nor any clarification has been made regarding the stands. However, it is being said that temporary stands will be making for seating.

This is What The NY Cricket Stadium Site Currently Looks Like:-

Peter Della Penna tweeted, “Under Construction? He hasn’t even started outfield work yet and won’t do so until February. “This is what the Nassau County, NY cricket stadium site for the 2024 T20 World Cup currently looks like.”

Seeing this condition of the field, it is natural to doubt the USA’s ability to host. Now the question becomes whether America will be able to prepare the stadium by June.

If the work does not start by February, then America will have only three and a half months left to prepare for the India vs Pakistan match.
