Brian Lara: The West Indies Players Rejoin International Setup in Mentoring Role. Former captain and Caribbean legend Lara will return to a new role as performance mentor across all international teams.

Lara is regarded as one of the best batsmen of all time:-

He is regarding as one of the best batsmen of all time. The dynamic left-handed batsman scored 34 Test centuries and 19 ODI hundreds during a distinguished international career that spanned almost two decades.

Now Lara is rejoining the West Indies in an attempt to revive the Caribbean side’s fortunes. The 53-year-old set to work with all international teams and the West Indies Academy.

Head coaches will have to provide tactical advice to Players:-

Lara’s primary role will be to support the various international head coaches of West Indies cricket. And provide tactical advice to the players.

While he will work closely with the Director of Cricket. And former teammate Jimmy Adams on strategic planning for the ICC World Cup tournament.

Spend time with players and coaches in Australia:-

Lara said, “After spending time with players and coaches in Australia and discussing with CWI. I really believe I can help players change their mental approach to the game. And their strategy to be more successful Am.”
