Champions Trophy 2025: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi To Host! Will India Tour Pakistan? The much-awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to take place in Pakistan, with Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi selected as the host cities.
This announcement comes amidst ongoing speculation about India’s participation in the tournament. While Pakistan remains the official host, there have been doubts about whether India will travel to the neighboring country for the event.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi recently confirmed the venue selection during a press conference in Lahore. He also expressed confidence in hosting a successful tournament, stating, “We have sent the schedule of matches to be held in Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.
The ICC’s security team was here and we had a very good meeting. They saw the arrangements here and we will also share the stadium update plan with them. We are constantly in touch with the ICC. We are making every effort to host a good tournament.”
The question of India’s participation remains a major talking point. Recent media reports have suggested that India might decline to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. However, there has been no official confirmation from either the BCCI or the PCB regarding this matter.
It’s worth noting that India did not tour Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup. The tournament was scheduled to be held in Pakistan, but India opted to play their matches in Sri Lanka under a hybrid model.
So, will India travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025? Only time will tell. The decision will likely depend on various factors, including security concerns, political relations between the two countries, and the BCCI’s stance on the matter.
