International Cricket Council (ICC) is the organizer of the Icc T20 World Cup. The T20 world cup’s First Match started on 11 September 2007 in South Africa. It was the short Format tournament by ICC. There have been a total of 7 Editions of the cup so far. Interestingly Never a host nation won the tournament. This Time ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be played in Australia from 16th October 2022 to 13th October. T20 World Cup Winner 2007- India

The Indian Cricket Team was the underdog in the first edition in 2007 which was hosted by South Africa. In This T20 World Cup M.S. Dhoni was the captain. Senior Player opted out from World cup So a Very Young and Inexperienced team went to participate in the world cup. India won the inaugural edition of The T20 world cup by threshing Pakistan by 5 runs. Irfan Pathan was the player of the match for the final match. First Time Asian Country Hosted Sri Lanka In 2012 ICC T20 World Cup. This time West Indies team won The ICC T20 World Cup. West Indies won First World Cup in any format after 42 years.
