The vision of a suspicious moment

Australian media outlet FOX Cricket highlighted the incident on its Twitter with the caption, “An argument has broken out after a suspicious moment was witnessed during the first innings of the first Test between Australia and India.”

Shastri: Jadeja was applying ointment on his finger

At the start of the second day of the first Test, Star Sports highlighted Vaughan’s response to Fox Cricket’s tweet. But Shastri responded before revealing that Jadeja was applying ointment to his finger.

Ravi Shastri said, “I haven’t heard much about it. I have asked two questions. Was there a problem with the Australian team? The answer was ‘no’. Did the match referee act? He told me about it, he cleared everything, and the matter was over. Why are we talking about someone else? And to be honest, Malham as a reliever would tell the match referee that if there was a decision or action to be taken, he would have taken it. Well, on this track you don’t need anything, the ball will turn.”
