The Indian Under-19 women’s cricket team, captained by Shafali Verma, has crushed England (India vs England Women U19 Final) in the final.

England have been defeated in a one-sided match by first performing brilliantly in bowling and then in batting. With this, India has won the Under-19 Women’s World Cup title.

India had a small target of 69 runs to win, which the team achieved in the 14th over. Shafali Verma came and hit sharp shots, but she got out after scoring 15 runs.

Soumya Tiwari and Gongadi handled the innings together:-

This was followed by another blow for India as semi-final star Shweta Sehrawat scored 5 runs. Soumya Tiwary and Gongadi handled the innings together and made a good partnership.

Both added 46 runs and when Gongdi got out, India was on the verge of victory. India won the match by 7 wickets and won the title.

He wrote- I am happy to inform that BCCI is announcing a prize money of Rs 5 crore for the winning team and support staff.

Earlier, the Indian women’s bowlers put up a stellar performance, taking wickets from the outset and not allowing any English batsman to settle down at the crease.

Titasu Sadhu and Parshvi Chopra took 2-2 wickets along with Archana Devi. Mannat Kashyap, Captain Shefali Verma, and Sonam Mukesh Yadav took 1-1 wickets. England, batting first, were bundled out for 68 runs in 17.1 overs.
