The report further states that Rowan Schouten will be performing the surgery. The Christchurch-based surgeon is famous among players for having assisted Graham Inglis.

who had operated on New Zealand players, notably Shane Bond, in the past. He also assisted in the surgeries of Australian pacers James Pattinson and Ben Dwarshius.
