IND-AUS: Prime Minister Modi Arrived to Watch the Match With Australian PM, Honored the Captains of Both the Teams

The final match of the four-Test series between India and Australia begins today. To see this match, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of both the countries has reached the stadium. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese will watch the first day’s play. Before the match, the Prime Ministers of both the countries honored the captain of their respective cricket team and presented him with a special cap for the particular Test match. After this, both the leaders took a round of the stadium in a special vehicle. During this the stadium is full of spectators.

Huge hoardings have been put up in the stadium premises to welcome the Prime Minister of both the countries. The punchline on the hoardings is “75 Years of Friendship through Cricket”. The hoardings also featured past and present cricketing legends of both the countries. The hoardings have not only been placed in corridors, practice areas and other walkways but have also found a prominent place near the traditional sightscreens.

PM Modi Came With Trump in this Stadium

Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world in terms of seating capacity. Around 1.25 lakh people can watch the match here simultaneously. A huge crowd is expected to fill the stadium as India will face Australia. PM Modi will watch a match here for the first time after this stadium is named after him. Earlier, he has appeared here with former US President Donald Trump in a program.

India Must Win the Fourth Test
