IND vs ZIM: Shikhar Dhawan was seen sleeping at the airport, Indian team left for Zimbabwe tour at midnight

IND vs ZIM: The Indian team left for the Zimbabwe tour on Saturday. The BCCI informed about this by posting pictures of many other players including coach VVS Laxman, Shikhar Dhawan, Deepak Chahar on Twitter. India has to play a three match ODI series against Zimbabwe.

IND vs ZIM: The first match of the series will be played on 18 August :-

The first match of the series will play on August 18. While the other two matches will played on August 20 and 22. KL Rahul will be the captain of Team India on Zimbabwe tour.

Before leaving for Zimbabwe tour, Shikhar Dhawan posted a picture on his Facebook story in which he was seen sleeping at the airport.

Announcement of 15-member team for Zimbabwe tour on July 31 :-

The BCCI had announced a 15-man squad for the Zimbabwe tour on July 31. The team headed by Shikhar Dhawan at that time. But a few days ago, KL Rahul not only made a place in the team after passing the fitness test, but the BCCI also entrusted him with the responsibility of captaincy. Dhawan is now the vice-captain of the team on this tour.

Not only this, apart from the captain, the coach of the team has also changed before the tour. BCCI has sent VVS Laxman to Zimbabwe as head coach after resting regular coach Rahul Dravid ahead of Asia Cup.
