CSK captain Dhoni also gave a statement about the bowlers after losing the toss. He said, ‘The pace is looking good on this pitch but the average bounce is a little less. We are trying to build character in our team (bowlers) and make them believe in themselves. With this, Dhoni has made it clear that by giving opportunities to the bowlers, their confidence is being increased.

Rajvardhan played his first match in the season against Gujarat Titans. In that match of the season played in Ahmedabad, this 20-year-old pacer performed amazingly and took 3 wickets. He also looted 36 runs. After this, in the next match against Lucknow Supergiants, Rajvardhan could not show anything amazing and could not take any wicket after scoring 24 runs. Then Captain Dhoni has kept him out of the playing-11 till now.

Rajvardhan Hangergekar has played in the Under-19 World Cup. He represents Maharashtra in domestic cricket. He has taken 13 wickets in first class cricket while he has 25 wickets in first class cricket. In his overall T20 career so far, Raj has taken 8 wickets in 10 matches.
