T20 World Cup 2024: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has made a big announcement on 15th February, due to which the suspense regarding Indian captaincy in global events in Caribbean and America is now over. Actually, Jay Shah has confirmed that none other than Rohit Sharma will captain India in the upcoming T20 World Cup in June and Hardik Pandya will be the vice-captain.

However, the BCCI secretary refused to name any player, including Ishan Kishan, who is focusing on IPL preparations. When asked about Ishan Kishan, he said, “He is a young player… There is no need to mention his name. This instruction applies to all players, including those under contract.
