Former Australia all-rounder and current Delhi Capitals assistant coach Shane Watson has slammed Mumbai Indians for spending Rs 15.25 crore on Ishan Kishan, saying the talented opener was not worth buying for that amount. Watson also criticized the purchase of injured Jofra Archer for such a huge amount. Mumbai had made a bid of eight crores to buy Archer. He will not be able to play this season. Watson said, “Mumbai Indians are at the bottom of the table, I am not surprised because they made surprising decisions in the auction. It was not known about Archer whether he would come to play or not. He hasn’t played cricket for a long time. Some decisions of the team were bad.

Ishan Kishan performance in the match was also poor
