IPL Auction 2023: Kane Williamson did not find buyer in mock auction. IPL 2023 mini-auction is less than 24 hours away and fans are eagerly waiting for the one-day event in Kochi.
They released many players on the retention day:-
The 10 IPL teams will spend crores of rupees to complete their squads for the 16th edition of the tournament.

Even though it is a mini-auction, it will be a busy day for some teams as they released a number of players on the Retention Day.
Going into the auction, all eyes will be on three overseas all-rounders – Ben Stokes, Cameron Green and Sam Curran. At the same time, there is doubt about Kane Williamson whether he will be bid or not.

A day before the auction, Jio Cinema conducted a mock IPL auction, which revealed some shocking figures.
Viacom18, which holds the digital rights of IPL, has a star-studded expert panel which includes Eoin Morgan, Chris Gayle, Robin Uthappa, Suresh Raina, Anil Kumble, RP Singh, Murali Karthik, and Scott Styris.
Did not bid for Kane Williamson:-
Surprisingly, none of the experts bid for Kane Williamson in this mock auction.
Williamson, who captained SRH last year, was released by the franchise. There is a possibility of his bid in the auction.

In the mock auction, Cameron Green got 20 crores, Sam Curran got Rs 19.50 crores, while Ben Stokes was sold for Rs 19 crores. Odion Smith (8.5 cr) and Nicholas Pooran (8.5 cr) were the other top picks.
