ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Australia’s Glenn Maxwell is out of the match against England due to injury while playing golf. Australian cricket team has suffered a big setback in the World Cup.

Explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell has been injured while playing golf, he is out of the match against England on November 4. The big thing is how serious is Maxwell’s injury and when will he recover.

Australia is in the race for the World Cup semi-finals, after losing the initial matches, it made a good comeback and has maintained a place in the top 4.

Glenn Maxwell Fell From The Golf Court:-

The match between Australia and England will be played on Saturday 4 November at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will start at 2 pm.

The match is important for Australia in terms of the semi-final race, but their star batsman being out due to injury is a big blow for them.

Glenn Maxwell was going towards the team bus after playing golf when he tried to hold the golf court and due to not being able to hold it properly, Maxwell fell.

When Will He Be Fit To Return:-

He is out of the match against England but the big question will be as to when he will be fit to return. After England, Australia’s next two matches are against Afghanistan and Bangladesh respectively.

Glenn Maxwell looked brilliant in the last 2 matches of the World Cup, he played a record inning of 106 runs in 44 balls against the Netherlands. After that, he also scored an important 41 runs against New Zealand in Dharamsala.

Australian cricket team is currently in fourth place with 4 wins in 6 matches, it has 3 matches left and if the team loses even one match then it will create a lot of problems for it.
