The Pakistan cricket team had a great start in the World Cup 2023 but the team was exposed in the match against India. In the first match against the Netherlands, Shadab scored 32 runs with the bat and took one wicket for 45 runs in 8 overs while bowling. After this, in the second match against Sri Lanka, he gave away 55 runs in 8 overs and took one wicket.
